2008 Summer Camps
Our student film camps are intended to be a complete experience in the filmmaking process. From script to screen students are introduced to all aspects of production. Through five days of intense training and instruction, students will work as a team to produce a short film.
Each team member will have the opportunity to write, direct, produce, shoot, edit, and act in their own productions. Each workshop will be facilitated by working industry professionals who know and understand what it takes to work in the video and film industries.
Our film camps are designed to be hands-on using the latest technology in digital filmmaking and nonlinear-based editing systems. Our camps are open to all high school students entering 9th grade through graduation. There is no prior experience in video or film production necessary.
Our program provides an opportunity for students who are serious about pursuing a career in media. It helps to build experience, confidence and leadership skills which are also necessary for life.
